“Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar like eagles” Isaiah 40:31
The Anglican Parish of Waterloo Bay has a strong membership of parishioners who have attended a Cursillo weekend and who continue to meet together regularly for worship, fellowship and share in a “pot-luck” dinner. They constitute an integral part of the church and enjoy lively uplifting songs of praise and through their faith contribute substantially to the life of the church.
What is Cursillo?
The purpose of the Anglican Cursillo Movement is to nourish and equip people so that they may embrace and enjoy the fullness of Christian life.

Cursillo empowers people to develop and enrich their Christian experience and to assist them to discover what it means to be a Christian.
The Cursillo method aims to equip Christians who are living in God’s grace to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to share in their day to day lives.
Cursillo will support individuals, offering involvement in a small group and regular parish, regional and diocesan gatherings and events where they can share worship and fellowship with other Christians.
