We hope to have three mine companies on the books by now and working out a suitable pattern of visiting and helping families back home. Pray for the contacts that Peter will be making. Pray that Peter can remember names. For Joy as she considers her work options and helps Peter. The 29th September – 3rd October sees us at the annual Mine Chaplains’ Conference in Sydney, followed by a wedding the following weekend for a miner back in Adelaide.

We have now moved to Adelaide for the beginning of a whole new project. Peter will be working for a mine company as a Chaplain 2 – 3 days a week and then picking up families from that site for the rest of the week. We plan to work with up to 4 mine companies and turn this into a full-time programme as the companies see the value. This will be slow work and your support will be greatly valued. Joy will assist with catering and entertainment and look for part-time work.
