The Parish Camp was a great success and people are already lining up to register for 2010.

Parish Camp The Great Escape 2009 - The Great Race

The site was perfect and the style of camp afforded participants to choose their preferrd free-time activities. Some of those chosen were, kayaking, fishing, exploring the nearby waterhole and waterfalls,checking out the quality of the winery or just plain relaxing…. something for everyone.

The weekend included good company, fellowship, prayer, singing, group activities, yummy food, laughter and opportunity for time out from busy schedules!

Parish camp The Great Escape 2009 - Meals were great

This years Parish Camp was held at Lake Maroon Holiday Camp near Boonah.

It was held from 5:30pm on Friday 16th October (drinks and light supper provided) to 2:00pm Sunday 18th October 2009.

The site had 2 large homes and a camping ground for overflow attendees.

Caravans and tents were also brought along and it worked out extremely well.

Costs

  • Adults: – House $80; Tent $55; Camper/Trailer (with electricity) $60
  • 6-12 years: House $60; Tent $45; Camper/Trailer (with electricity) $45
  • 0-5 years: House $30; Tent $30; Camper/Trailer (with electricity) $30
  • Day visitors: $15 for food and activities
