Rev'd Canon Neville Knott

Neville was ordained in Brisbane in 1965 and served as Assistant Curate in the parishes of Ekibin and Southport and in the parish of Stretford in Manchester UK. Returning to Queensland he served with BCA at Moranbah in Rockhampton Diocese before returning to Brisbane Diocese as Rector of Fortitude Valley and then Cleveland and Southport before “retiring” in 2005.

Prior to ordination he was an Accountant with a large international company and at various times has served as a Shire Councillor with the Belyando Shire Council, as Chair of Council for St Hilda’s School, as a Canon on the Chapter of St John’s Cathedral for 22 years, as Area Dean, Archdeacon and other Diocesan appointments.

He and Eve are now living in the Redlands and spending time with their two daughters and four grandchildren.
