Terry Watkinson

Terry and his wife Ann moved to Queensland from Nowra on the South Coast of New South Wales in 2006. They settled initially at Thorneside but eventually built a new home at Wellington Point.
Terry had been a principal in a Surveying, Engineering and Town Planning business on the South Coast for some 30 years until he sold out and retired in 2005.
Terry and Ann met in 1986 and married in 1987. They attended All Saints Anglican Church in Nowra where they were involved in Pastoral Care groups, Ladies’ groups, Men’s’ groups, Church rosters and Open House Fellowship – a group serving disabled and disadvantaged people.
Ann was instrumental in the formation of All Saints Community Care – set up to assist people in need.
On settling at Thorneside Terry and Ann commenced attending St.Georges Church at Birkdale where they were warmly welcomed and encouraged to participate in Church affairs.
Terry has been pleased to accept the invitation to become a Church Warden and to assist in the administration of the Church and oversee various portfolios in Parish Council.
